You may have noticed, I have a Premium Members group on this site, similar to the one I had over at Invision Modding. It will basically function the same way here: if you buy one of my mods, or make a donation, or otherwise favorably assist me in what I do, then I will promote you to this new group. The promotion will result in access to other mods, a special VIP forum, things like more uploads permissions, etc.

One thing I'm trying to do is auto-promote folks who register here who were premium members at Invision Modding. I have a spreadsheet I'm keeping that has your old emails there, and I'll use it to match up what your email address is here on this site. So if you want to retain this, please try and register with the same email address you used there. Otherwise, if that's no longer feasible or you forget, then just shoot me a message and I'll manually promote you. People who can be promoted here are anyone in the Premium Members, Management, Moderators, Support Staff, or Modders groups at Invision Modding, as those were all of the folks who either financially or otherwise supported my work.

Please note, though, that this isn't something whereby you can become premium on both sites with a single donation starting now. Basically all of those folks who got this promotion while I was running Invision Modding will get the promotion here, as those people were actually donating to me. Any donations Invision Modding would be receiving now would no longer be going to me, so it wouldn't really impact your status on this site.

Hopefully this isn't too confusing, please post if you have questions. :)

Makes perfect sense and is a nice gesture to automatically extend existing Premium Members here too :)

Hi Michael,

I'm Argouges, I'm in the premium member group, because I bought some of your mods.

Also I have decided to make you a donation of $ 20 for all work done.

Thank you to all the team for your work

There is no minimum donation, but please refer to this section of the board guidelines:

3) While I won't put ads on the site, I'll gladly accept donations should you feel I'm worth it, but I'm not going to beg. Donating more than $5 will get you into the Premium Members group here, with some benefits, but I would really rather you not think of that as something you can buy into. Donating should always always always be done just because you want to help or show your appreciation. If you donate and then ask me why you haven't been promoted, expect to get your donation refunded.

Donate only if you want to show appreciation for my efforts here, please do not donate if you are just looking to buy an upgrade to the Premium Members group.

That's odd. The image shows up fine in IE7, but it's not hyperlinked like it should be. I'll look into why it's doing that, in the meantime you can send your donation to me via PayPal to the address michael.mccue@gmail.com. I'm flexible that way. :)

OK, I believe the image should be working now in both IE and Firefox.

Michael,

I too was a supporter of yours while you were at Invision Modding, but I do not want anything for free and I have sent you my donation as well. your GREAT mods require whatever support we can give you. It may not be the biggest donation, but I figure by buying your mods in the future, hopefully that will make up for it. Love the new site and looking forward to the GREAT mods that will carry us into IPB 3.0 :D
